THE SCHOOL OF ARTISAN FOOD

Background

The school offers bursaries and subsidies to make artisan food accessible to as many people as possible and works closely with local schools, colleges, voluntary organisations and social enterprises. They aim “to preserve traditional methods of food production which might otherwise be lost.”

The solution

You’re an associate member of the Food & Drink Forum, how has this helped you and your business? Being a member of The Food and Drink Forum has helped our business incredibly over the years through creating connections across the local food and drink sector; providing informative information to our students studying our Advanced Diploma and FDSC courses; and encouraging local groups to be involved in the food and drink sector, through workshops held at the School funded by The Food and Drink Forum or other events they host. They have provided us with funded opportunities for providing support in grants for equipment, along with business mentoring support.
