Coronavirus (COVID-19) Statement


The aim of this statement is to provide our members and stakeholders with guidance on our policy and procedure regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19).


Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a new strain of Coronavirus identified in Wuhan City, China in December 2019.

The symptoms of this new Coronavirus (COVID-19) include high temperature, dry cough, sore throat, or muscle aches. The current evidence is that most cases appear to be mild.

The Food & Drink Forum is committed to protecting the health of our clients and staff. As such, we will direct our staff and our members to take action to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus disease as outlined by current Public Health England and UK Government Guidance to Employers and Businesses.

It is very important that anyone who has the virus, or might have been exposed to it limits the number of people they come into contact with for 14 days.

Travel Policy

If you have visited an affected region in the last 14 days, or have needed to self-isolate, please notify The Food & Drink Forum in advance of visiting any client’s facility on The Food & Drink Forum’s behalf.
