The Test Kitchen at Southglade Food Park is a commercial catering kitchen available to hire Monday – Friday / 9.00AM – 5.00PM. The kitchen can be hired on an hourly or daily basis, or on long-term lease.
With prices starting from £150 per day the test kitchen can be used for a range of purposes including product development, production runs and for food preparation.
Catering equipment in the kitchen includes:
· Zanussi Electric / Steam Oven
· Zanussi Blast Chiller
· Catering Deep Fat Fryer
· Catering Grill (Gas)
· Catering Gas Oven with 6 Cooking Hobs
· Catering Fridge / Freezer
· Catering Dishwasher
Prior to use, The Food & Drink Forum will provide a full induction and brief training on the equipment. Access to our team of food technical experts can be arranged in line with kitchen hire for additional hands-on support.
Businesses looking to hire the kitchen should inform their Environmental Health Officer and are required to provide a copy of their liability insurance before use.
With the kitchen having multiple users, businesses are asked to declare their product allergens prior to using the kitchen so this can be managed accordingly.
