The £5.8m Leicester Food Park was funded by Leicester City Council and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) 2007 – 2013 programme.
Leicester Food Park is managed by East Midlands Chamber working in partnership with The Food & Drink Forum. It provides high quality food manufacturing space with purpose-built units, enabling new and innovative food businesses to start up and grow as well as providing established food businesses with grow on space for their expanding businesses.
The Food Park is located on a 1.5 acre site owned by Leicester City Council, located to the north-east of the city at High View Close, just off Lewisher Road. This is approximately 4km to the North East of Leicester City Centre and adjacent to Hamilton Office Park and Vantage Park.
At the heart of the food park community is the Management Hub with onsite Food & Drink Forum presence offering dedicated business and food technical support to tenants and the wider Leicester & Leicestershire food and drink community. The Management Hub also provides practical, affordable conference facilities for local businesses. The Food Park is easily accessible from the City Centre, making it a convenient place to meet customers and suppliers away from the factory.
