Leicestershire Food Co-ordinator
The Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP) has enlisted the skills of The Food and Drink Forum to help drive forward the food and drink economy of Leicester and Leicestershire. Having been appointed as the local food co-ordinator, The Forum will be working to develop a strategy and action plan that will guide the future development of the food and drink sector across the sub-region.  

Southglade Food Park
Southglade Food Park is a pioneering business park in Nottingham dedicated to the food and drink sector – offering a range of different-sized business units to suit firms at all stages of development. The Food & Drink Forum manages the on-site Business Centre that gives specialist support to firms both on and off the park, as well as providing a new product development kitchen, meeting rooms and other business facilities for hire.

The Food Specialist

The Food and Drink Forum are offering Leicester businesses in the food and drink industry the opportunity to improve their business performance, competitiveness, growth and sustainability by delivering two free days of business support.

The Food Specialist will carry out business assessments and deliver bespoke support to suit the company’s needs. Support packages may include a whole range of services including: technical, packaging, branding, marketing, NPD support, training, advice on accessing routes to markets, assessment of process and resource efficiency and labelling and nutritional advice and auditing, accreditation and certification.

The Food and Drink Forum are the trade association for the food and drink industry, for over 14 years The Forum have been supporting business and delivering cost effective solutions through a wide range of services. The Food Specialist project is funded by ERDF and provides businesses with the opportunity to benefit from the experience and expertise that The Food and Drink Forum have to offer.

Leicester City Council and The Food and Drink Forum are dedicated to the sustainable growth of the food and drink industry in Leicester, Technical Manager of The Food and Drink Forum Richard Wigley said ‘’It’s wonderful to have the opportunity to help businesses and equip them with the ability to grow and develop’’.
